I have been working at a LaQuinta hotel as maintenance manager for a year and a half now, and I am turning in my two-week notice today.
Many things have driven me to this point. Poor management from up above, extreme lack of communication, understaffing in my department, finger pointing from management, them undermining me with my employees with every chance they get, how they treat the other employees here, and many other things so forth.
This is actually the second LaQuinta that I’ve worked at and at both the crap that was going on ended up having me leave after a year because it was getting too toxic and bad.
