I have seen, on more than occasion, someone making a post about a toxic/bad job and someone chimes in “just quit!” I check their profile and discover they are on disbility and they get money from the government every month. They don't work. Why are they giving advice? They do NOT understand what most of us who are NOT on disability are feeling – that if you “just quit” there is no safety net and no money coming in to pay for food, rent children etc.
I'm not saying that people on disability don't deserve it, I just don't understand why they come here with their “Advice” when they don't understand what it's like to work 50 hours a week, have no extra money from government coming in, have to pay rent by yourself etc. Sorry for venting
