I’ve worked at my job for four months. I have been sick twice.
The first time I came in, did my job feeling like crap, threw up, and they got my shift covered.
Today I just felt horrible. Stomach pains, bathroom issues and I am feeling lethargic and have a head ache.
I let my owners know, and one of them came to cover the rest of my shift.
As I was leaving, he said “you seems to have been sick a lot since starting here. Do you think you can work here?”
Like, have I really been sick that much? I haven’t called out, just went home early TWO TIMES when I felt like I hit my physical limit.
Am I an asshole? Is it too often?
