How do you guys navigate through misleading or false statistics about the labor market?

I think obviously, corporate media pushes all kinds of statistics without context or without any background to how they come up with these numbers. Like they’ll tell us it’s been the lowest unemployment rate in X amount of decades, but how many of those jobs are filled by people that see that as a career and not some filler job? On top of this, that is giving impression to these employers and recruiters that they’re doing a great job and patting themselves on the back. Therefore, they don’t have to actually improve and they’re just going to stick to business as usual. Do you guys just ignore this and focus on you and building yourself?
