Found out that because I live in what is considered one of the cheaper places to live in my country I'm making less than people in some of the more expensive parts of the country by a sizeable margin. I'm not entirely sure how to feel about it. I'm one of the top performers in my workplace and worked hard to get here, and have the accolades to show it, why am I paid less than people who just started in another area?
