My wife was watching The first season of deadliest catch last night. One of the new guys is doing really well but he was looking tired. One of the senior guys could tell even admitted he was doing well. He said once he gets tired I'm going to start pushing his buttons. I'm a man but I don't understand this is this a guy thing I feel like this happens a lot and masculine jobs I don't understand what the point of it is is there a reason? I feel like this is a part of why there is a hard time keeping workers in construction and other masculine trades. There's always this thing just treating the new guy like shit. Like I get it you got to pay your dues but at some point you're just an asshole. But what do I know The guy never really explained it on the show although I really don't care
