So I worked for a company during covid. I was overworked and under paid and I left bc 70 hours a week was too much. Recently they have been having some issues from a launch so I offered to step back in and help contracted. I offered my rate (25hr), they accepted. It worked out well. After 4 months they told me they no longer need me but offered me a permanent position for $7 less an hour. I’m sorry. What? It isn’t a living wage at 25/hr. Like wtf are these companies thinking?! Hard Pass.
