So I have a disability (it's easily identifiable if you go on my profile).
Retail sucks.
And it sucks when you have a disability and they put you in box.
Also it's really crushing when you get bullied by a superior, and management is useless (I was young and naive. I didn't know about reporting it.)
My favorite things the white lady who bullied me said:
I'm going to kill him.
Told me what not to say to a black lady angrily (I'm Indian-American)
I'm just walking around the store doing nothing (wasn't true)
Complained after I said I was glad she wasn't here (even though she was a bully).
Lots more but I can't remember since this was in 2018.
Also, my favorite thing is when a company loves cutting hours just to line their pockets with extra profit. Especially during a pandemic.
Unionize. It will make them scared.
One these stores I worked at, it had a very high turnover volume. The main reason because it sucked to be working there. Especially during a pandemic. And getting no raises.
