I have been a technician throughout several dealerships specifically on European cars and have found the job getting worse and worse. Manufacturers are lowering their warranty times, the management is getting worse and worse at every place I've been and its often dealing with so much internal politics. Don't get me wrong you can make a good living and i honestly do enjoy working on cars most of the time but i want to get out and see what else i can do. I've seen people saying they lied about having a degree to get some higher paying remote jobs and I've been considering that. I'm just sick of this cycle of being so miserable and having to bust my ass to make okay money. Any recommendations? I really don't want this to come off as I'm lazy or just want an easy ride. I don't mind hard work. I am a hard worker by nature. Its the bs and constant crap you have to deal with from management that I'm sick of. The poor work environment. What can i do? What skills could i pick up? What jobs could i pheasibly jump into potentially remote jobs?
