Coworker searching strange things on company computer; management does nothing

As the title says, a coworker of mine has been looking up strange things on a work computer we have that's meant for clocking in. Another coworker of mine sent me pictures of this man's search history (he's apparently too old and senile to delete it) and it includes a ton of explicit searches (cannot share on here since it breaks rules). MANY employees have stated their discomfort with this and someone even showed our direct manager these photos of his search history. Managers only reaction was “why are you guys attacking him?” and “well are there any searches about little kids?” as if we're ATTACKING HIM BY REPORTING THIS?! If management won't do a thing about this, would HR? I already have my two weeks put in because i found a better job, but many employees are uncomfortable with it.
