I've worked from home for 5 of the last 6 years. I have been offered a job where I'm required to come into the office and work in person for a minimum of 6 months before the company will even consider a hybrid role. >90% of the job is virtual. The majority of the office is fully remote or hybrid and so the office is a ghost town. Most meetings are virtual because no one is in the office. I just have to come in for reasons.
I know many people are in similar boats- I just wanted to bounce it to the void- do I tough this out for 6 months and see where it goes? Or look for a job that trusts me as an adult human capable of doing a job. It feels insulting, but not sure if I'm just being a princess because of my previous roles.
