Severance Agreement

I was laid off one month ago and was promised a severance payment upon my termination. I was let go for financial reasons, despite the company proudly stating they had another instance of record breaking profits this quarter. I worked for the company for 2.5 years and regularly worked 12-14 hour days, despite being ineligible for overtime(salaried). The severance payment was 1 month's pay, which would go a long way as this was completely out of the blue. The company sent me the official severance agreement where all I needed to do was sign within 21 days to receive the severance payment. I reviewed the agreement and signed it just 3 days upon reception, then put the agreement at the back of my mind as it would take time to receive the severance pay. I didnt need to think too long about it given there were no negative ramifications for signing. Fast forward to 30 days after I had received the agreement, no funds yet. Due to not receiving anything, I reached out to the company, who advised me that I never signed the agreement so they don't need to honor the agreement. According to their audit history, I never signed the agreement. Looking back, I received a confirmation screen after signing and submitting the document, but I didn't screenshot it, so I effectively have no proof of ever signing the document. I contacted the e-sign company and they advised me that they didnt have proof either and that a network outage could have prevented the document from submitting successfully, despite the confirmation screen i received. After writing an appeal to the company, which was promptly denied, I'm considering my options. Do I have a case here or am I out of luck?
