This employee wasn't fired for smelling bad, or being generally unkempt. She was fired for wearing her uniform two days in a row and not BUYING a different shirt.
Having been that girl, I'd bet her shirt was clean. I have washed my work shirts in bathtubs when I was serving $100 plates.
If you want your employees to look different every day, then it is your responsibility to provide more than one fucking shirt. Shit is <$10/ea at cost on low volume orders. Suck it up and clothe your people; it's not that hard.
