So my girlfriend (33f) just moved to NYC with me and found a job. The issue is that it didn't sit well with her. It would be better to find another job that doesn't require constant walking around the city for 9 hours per day.
To the issue: it's been two weeks since she left the job. Her first/last paycheck should have been for 16.50/hr (what was advertised) vs the yet to be received $200 flat that they claim she is entitled to.
We've tried emailing their HR and are trying to speak to the DOL, but I'm not crazy thinking that they not only fucked her financially, but legally too.
