It boggles my mind that employers are being so (quoting Andy Dufresne) “OBTUSE” about insisting that the same job that HAD to be done working from home for damn near 3 years, now all of a sudden has to be done in an office environment! In in the last 24 hours, I've had 8 different recruiters reach out to me about a role at Sp****um, for which the person has to go into the office 3 days a week. But the other 2 days of the week, the same work can be performed at home. Ridiculous! This is great role for me, but they had to ruin it for me and for them by their insistence on making this a hybrid role. I wonder when will these greedy corporations realize that they are hurting themselves by being so darned “obtuse”?
