Some context, I work in the public sector so the company is unable to purchase booze but allows for individuals to buy for their subordinates. I find this practice to be a bit uncomfortable. Also everyone is completely rude to me (I work in IT). Am I a jerk to not attend? I really can't stand 90% of them and would rather drown…..
