Recently the sick policy changed to where everybody gets 3 weeks sick time whether they are salary or an hourly employee.
I'm wondering we used to be able to save our sick time and it would roll over each year and eventually we would get paid out for it or be able to use it for an emergency if we had to be off for like a month or two.
Now we cannot roll over our sick time each year any sick time that is not used will be lost and we will all start with a new 3 weeks every new year.
I do not see any incentive to not use all the time. If it gets lost at the end of the year why would we not all use all three weeks.
And if they're giving us that 3 weeks I don't see how we can get in trouble for using them. Like if I call in for a week straight I can see that being a reason but just using a couple days here and there throughout the whole year is that the whole point of sick time right. Just confusing
