It has been some time so i think it is too late to talk to the resturant but i just want an oppinion.
I was given an interviev as a waiter at a fancy resturant in my town and they asked me to to a trial shift to see how i work. I worked from 5 in the evening to 9, and i bought a black blouse for the uniform.
The resturant was so fancy that you had to tell everything that was on the dish for the people that were eating it so of course it was hard for me ti do that because i did not have time to memorise but i did great overall and even the chiefs loved my enthusiasm. But they never contacted me again wich i still dont know why.
But also i did not get money for that shift, is that usually normal for the trial shift to be free? I mean i lost money because i had to buy clothes for my uniform. I still cant stop thinking if i should have contacted them again or not
