I've always been told I'm one of the high performance/high potential employees, yet my raises are rarely more than 3%. Sometimes as low as 1.5%
I had a couple 10% early in my career but thats easy when it equates to a few grand.
But the thing is…
My goals are always AT LEAST 10% business growth. Usually 25%… 50%… 2x. Depending what i'm focusing on that year.
What even is the point if an extra million (or more) for the company means an extra $3000 for me?
