“Competitive wages”

So, i just got an article recommended on my Facebook, that states Giant Eagle locations throughout the city of Columbus are hosting a Hiring event advertising “competitive wages”, my first thought is it’s probably going to be only 11 an hour like every other company that claims to be “competitive” that i’ve worked for. I do intend to visit a location on the day of the event to ask, and i will report my findings as an update to this post, but i highly doubt that the wage is truly competitive since they don’t blatantly state the offer in the article. https://www.10tv.com/mobile/article/money/business/giant-eagle-market-district-hiring-event/530-d628a8b7-a42e-4ef8-b117-baca6befad8b Edit, why do they advertise as Competitive when it sure as fuck isn’t? And how is that not legally false advertising? That’s what i want to know
