I recently started looking for a second job and got an interview at a place called silver grill. The interview went really well and I got the job, second time i go in, I’m just interviewed again. I tell the other manager that i had already gotten the job and it was clearly not communicated. After the second random interview I call back and ask for clarification and am asked to come in to fill out paperwork AGAIN. So i wait a few days with no one reaching out about a schedule so I call the place and ask for the person in charge, when she’s answers she’s clearly unhappy with me and says she needs to ask me about something. She said the second lady that interviewed me claimed I slept with several coworkers in the back of my last job and said I should absolutely not work for them for that reason. Just to clarify nothing was mentioned in the interview previous relationships at any past jobs and i said nothing about hooking up. It also has never happened. I apologized because I was just so caught off guard and didn’t know what to say. I was supposed to go in but instead I sent an email stating why I’m never working for them and how disgusting her words “hooking up with several people” were used in a degrading way and a reason to not hire me. I’m wanting to take this further but i’m not sure there’s anything I can do.
