Experience was so bad it had to go on here. Hired in as a maintenance tech. Union opportunity, but once your in your 90 days, your a ghost. Nothing is mentioned about pay raise. Then supposed there is a new layout for pay increases beyond a union contract? This is a company producing parts for aerospace and main customer SpaceX.
Qualified level is unknown. So they bust your ass thru supposed training in a hazardous environment, lets include ceramic insulation for the 8-10 high output furnaces they use to forge parts. They get damaged and need replacing, so the underpaid and undertrained get to do that first before any level up. Which would be an extra $1.30 or so. Terrible leadership as they were hiring a supervisor my whole time there. Looks like someone was double fisting the pay but no cracking on their job. I cut and left. 24/hr doesn’t cut it nowadays for heavy industrial work.
