Have your manager and boss ever have a screaming match?

This happened a couple of years ago at my previous job at a real estate office. I worked weekends at the front desk and occasionally would fill in for the receptionists during the week if needed. I happened to be there during the week and asked my manager at the time for Sunday off because it was Orthodox Easter (I'm Greek Orthodox). I did ask my coworkers in advance to cover but I guess they forgot about it 🤷‍️. I asked my manager if she can find someone to cover and she said sure. I go to the restroom and when I came out my boss and Manger were outside screaming at each other all because I needed that day off. When they come back in my boss give me a horrible look and said if I came to her earlier this wouldn't be an issue. I didn't know this…

When they come back in my boss give me a horrible look and said if I came to her earlier this wouldn't be an issue. I didn't know this because I wasn't told. Remember, I did ask my coworkers ahead of time. One of my coworkers did end up covering for me.

Anyway, I did end up leaving because my boss was horrible to work for and stressed staff out. I was told ever since I left, my position has been a revolving door.
