First I totally support the idea of this sub being a place where we can vent and educate each other on sketchy dealing but i see a question on people complaining about eventually workkng a 40 hour job.
So this is kind of the standard 'bright side'
Note: this will be about office jobs and typically 9 to 5s
1.) Its only 40 hours a week. And if you commute maybe 47 to 50 hours. That leaves you with 128 hours a week if you sleep 8 hours a week that still leaves you with 88 hours.
2.) Work to support what you want to do. Don't think a job is your reason of living. I'm not making shit yet I know that I can still support my hobbies and that's what I spend most of my time doing.
3.) Have your line. Know how much mistreatment you are willing to take before leaving. If you are being coerced into doing ethically shady shit. Know where that line is.
4.) Don't chase the money chase the benefits. I don't get paid shit but… I get 41 days off and full medical which is huge.
