So to sum it up, I work at a fast food place and forgot my phone when I clocked out because every customer coming in had coupons thus calculator. After sitting in the office for five hours watching the camera footage I saw that one of my coworkers pocketed it. Plus on the find my phone app it said it was last seen at the store hours after I left but it was turned off or died around the same time he pocketed it. Then when my boyfriend came in and asked coworker to look around he just went into the backroom and held the fridge door open and kept glancing back at my boyfriend. Then he went back out and told him he didn't know where it was. Now his relatives are on his ass and he's straight up denying anything despite catching him on camera. I filed a police report which I haven't heard back from yet, and my work is being completely unhelpful. They haven't even fired him and they're letting him work today. They've been harassing me about keeping quiet because of their reputation so much so that I walked out yesterday because a manager was telling me that I was irritating and annoying and literally quote said to shut the fuck up about the whole thing like it never happened. All because someone was trying to help me with this shitfest. I don't know what to do. Should I take further legal action like court type shit? Any advice helps
