Coming into work sick

I've been up all night in and out of the bathroom. Diarrhea is so bad it sounds like I'm peeing. I wake up ar 6am and throw up. And again 20 minutes after. I decide to call in. I have called in maybe once in the last 6 months. I also work with kids. I send my boss a text saying I don't think I'm going to make it in, I'm throwing up and it hurts to move. He tells me to come in anyways because he needs people. Which isn't my problem. I don't understand how someone can tell you they are throwing up and in so much pain they can't move but you still want them to come in because you can't find other people to work. On top of that, I work with toddlers so I'm taking the risk of getting them sick. Of course I'm going…

I also tried to call in a few weeks ago because I just wasn't feeling well, same thing then. I have called in sick once within 6 months and 2 times in an entire year. Other people call in all the time though.
