Today I got a raise. It’s a significant one I may add. The two team leaders sat down with me to discuss this. I signed the papers once I read it and they told me why the raise. (The company wants to show their appreciation towards the long time workers.) At the end my boss told me that the salary and the increase is confidential and if they hear us talking about the subject we are fired.
A funny thing I found out also today is that the Romanian government wants to make salaries a sort of public knowledge as in it’s no longer confidential. What do you guys think?
