I went to this place for an interview less than a week ago. When I had the interview it went short n sweet, she told me she was looking to hire someone soon, and would like me back but with my documents in hand.
She didnt straight up tell me I had the job so I applied to other stuff anyways, but I had a good feeling if shes asking for ssn and a form of ID.
Today I show up, the same lady who gave me an interview tells me shes waiting on another manager. This isnt paperwork. Im gonna have another interview. She tells me it’ll take 10-15 minutes. I arrived on time, but I end up waiting about 40 min until the other manager showed up.
Shes actually a fairly nice lady, honestly I wasnt prepared for another interview so I answered and couldnt tell if it was good or not. She told me that she has more interviews and would get back to me.
I recognize they probably wont. Im upset, both for waiting so long and for thinking I was going to be onboarded fairly soon. I relaxed a bit with applying to jobs. Hell I started buying small things again to ease the idea I was about to get hired soon. I dont need much, but I need something, and soon.
This is just frustrating. Im at a point Im just going to email local buisnesses to see if they would consider hiring someone part time bc f these interviews.
