I have a valid medical note for procedure this morning and time off tomorrow to properly heal. My manager wanted me to switch to 8 hours which I did not want to. I like working 5-4/9 since my second Thursday is 8 hour while second Friday is short. Vacation is longer if you plan around 5-4/9 schedule anyways. I told him no and I gave him valid documentations already. I worked today for 5 hours which I shouldn't be working. I am not sure if I should join conference call tomorrow or not. This is for a public government sector job fyi.
I know workers are easily to be replaced. What are your thoughts?
