Hi so I’m 28F I’ve worked in the same food retail job for the last 8 years. Over the last few months I’ve really felt depressed. We got this new manger I feel like I can’t talk to him. I find out from other colleagues he’s told them things I’ve told him in confidentiality. I don’t know who I can talk to now every one in this company knows each other and it gets spread round like gossip. If I contact HR they’ll send it to district manger then that’ll go through all other shops in the district. I’m at the point where I come in do my job and go home. I don’t really talk to anyone as I’m scared of what I might say get spread like gossip. Im being called miserable and rude and I just don’t know what to do I financially can’t quit.
