I used to work for a major shipping carrier and I worked my ass off. After being turned down for a promotion (I was technically doing the job w/o pay) around 5 times and dealing with underqualified idiots getting the job after being told that I'd get it, I just stopped giving a fuck. Favoritism is bullshit and it has killed my work ethic. Then I left and went to a truck rental company that had the same bs but it was obvious that my manager didn't give a fuck about me and helping me or helping others unless they got on their knees for him. I was fired because I had submitted a HR complaint because I was being belittled and bullied by one of his favorites. Long story short, I might be starting a new job and I am woried that I wont have the drive for my new job… Any advice?
