Why is it so bad?

I remember seeing movies about making fun of adult men living at home with families and here I am 30 years old and living at home feeling like a failure. I don’t understand how everything can become so expensive and yet salaries don’t catch up with the cost of living. How does our companies expect us to work if we’re starving and homeless? I get that we’re replaceable and they’ll always find someone, but then to outright victim blaming accusing people of not wanting to work when the work itself does not pay the bills? It’s a system design to fail, sooner or later. My philosophy of a perfect villain is one that keeps it’s victims alive and well to remain useful to serve a singular purpose. I don’t understand how everything can become so expensive and yet salaries don’t catch up with the cost of living. How does our companies expect us to work if we’re starving and homeless? Heroes don’t have an objective other than to keep crime down, not to stop crime or they become the anti-hero, but villains have an objection to keep us satisfied and ignorant. You can’t have a society where we are constantly being told that things will get better when they have been getting worse. It will keep us aware and start to ask questions. Does our government and corporate America want us to rebel? Do they want to have an excuse to take us to jail and to strip away our freedoms? Or maybe like the movie, “The Wizard of Oz,” the wizard was just a pathetic man with a big ego having no idea what to do…
