It's hilarious how, during the course of an hour, he went from guiding the meeting and acting like he did most of the work (when we were presenting the project for our boss) to “actually I don't even understand how this thing works, I didn't knew how X Y Z…” when it turned out “XYZ” was a big fuck up on our part and boss was chewing us out for missing it.
It was a virtual meeting but I could visualize him like, sitting by my side at the table and then slowly rolling his chair and going to boss's side as errors got pointed out, until they were side by side chewing me out for “my” mistakes.
then had the audacity to be jokey joke with me in a private chat after he just threw me under the bus.
Boss likes him because he's a bootlicker, so stuff ended up being my fault alone while coworker got promises of more expensive trainings and participation in “important meetings” where he doesn't do shit, just acts like a secretary/middle manager for our (middle) manager.
I hate that we're in a damn recession and I can't find another job…
