I(20F) am Currently I'm doing 3 months internship in X company.
About this company: it's racist(they never accept ppl from Africa) , does shady stuff, treats employees badly and constantly fires them, ceo is severely autistic. ( no hate here, it's just he's a bit difficult person).
About this internship: it's erasmus internship which accepts students to train them and receives good money from EU erasmus fund for it.
This company does not train anyone whatsoever and nobody learns anything here. We are in office for 9 hours, can't go home early even though we finished our task ( or when we dont have task at all). We basically waste time.
Recently I got task about searching accomodation for ceo's kids and making report about each apartment. Mind you this task has nothing to do with my career or my major, I literally study econ+math , it's bs.
I found flats and made word document putting pictures of rooms in one page.
Next day I get demeaning, aggressive mail from supervisor saying the pictures arent symmetrically positioned and I'm not even able to put simple pictures together. The tone of his mail was so demeaning……
I didn't respond in any negative way, I apologized instead. But I emailed him and other supervisors that I would like to request for a task replacement, take over something thats useful for my career.
It was smart decision but now I'm anxious about their response, i dont want them to think I'm lazy. If they fire me I'll have to payback to my university, which is impossible for me, I barley can afford food.
How should I proceed?
