The idea that you can save anything in the present time with the cost of living crisis is going to be very difficult. At this point having one job isn’t enough. A person would need to work two to three jobs just to get by.
On this subreddit there is so many posts about employers doing things that seem to be geared toward driving people out of those jobs. Or to make their lives miserable. At this point do whatever it takes to keep the jobs. There will be more layoffs and the job market is going to see fewer jobs out there and more competition for those jobs.
