We just found out today that my husband will be laid off from his job at the end of October. I am a stay at home mom. We have a special needs daughter, and a baby who is coming in October. We are freaking out. Not only were we relying on his paternity leave so that he can take care of our daughter and help out with her therapy while I'm healing from the birth, we have also just met our out of pocket max for insurance, so now insurance is finally starting to cover medical expenses. My daughter requires therapy, and this pregnancy is high risk and will most likely end in a c-section. I'm so worried about losing our medical. From what I've found online, unemployment does not pay much either. I know a lot of people are in the same predicament as us. They said 940 people were laid off today.
