Looks like I am looking for a new job.

I currently love my job. The benefits are amazing, comes with pension, cheap health insurance without a deductible. If I weren't supporting my disabled sister and niece my salary would be totally comfortable for a single person. After busting my arse, and being understaffed for a year, we finally hired a new person. They got hired at 5K more than I did. Even though I got a 1K raise 6 months into my time here, new girl is still making 5k more than me, despite having less experience. The whole time I have been here I've had head hunters trying to offer me full time gigs in my field of study, and I've turned them down because they were low ball offers for the position, and didn't have amazing time off like I have here. My plan is to look for something better. Cost of living raises are pretty standard…

Cost of living raises are pretty standard and frequent here, so I am going to see if I get a boost in January that will bring me up to what the new person is making, if not I'll be bouncing at the earliest opportunity.
