I've been working as an entry level helpdesk/IT support for 6 months. The salary is very much entry level and I was told I would get a raise as my skills grow.
Surprise surprise, I didn't get any raise so far, despite being expected to do more work and having more responsibilities. So I just said fuck it, I'll just act my wage and now I do the bare minimum. I do all the task I am given, but that's it.
Every month there's a face to face 'performance review meeting' with me, my boss and head of HR. Last month boss said I should be more proactive and do more tasks by myself. He said it seems like I'm not really interested in the job. Then he said I'll not get a raise until there's an increase in my productivity. Lastly, 15% of my salary is 'performance bonus', which got halved as a result. Then he said he'll give me extra shifts so I can earn more money (haha…)
They also don't like WFH at all, despite proudly showcasing it when I applied for the job. Best case scenario is they'll let me WFH once a week, and you must take on additional tasks that day, because 'WFH is not for free' according to my boss.
