The CEO of the engineering firm i work at made the best (worst) April Fools joke ever. This is a large few thousand employee organization.
The joke was basically along the lines of: “hey everyone, we've made a decision to go back to the office full time, we'll see you folks after Easter.” At the end of the email it reads: for those not happy with this, check todays date. lol
I admit I was too flustered to read till the end and fell for the prank. The email was pretty long with instructions on RTO processes so it looked real.
Not gonna lie, if that were true I'd starting looking for a new job elsewhere.
