One day when I'm elderly, or if I become injured, I might find myself in a situation where I am not capable of working anymore. I'll need money to support myself and have a work-free life, so it got me thinking about how I can invest or put aside some money to use in the future?
I could buy property to rent to people, but that is being a landlord and wrong.
I could buy stock in corporations, but that supports exploitation of the common worker.
I could buy government bonds, but the government is full of politicians and does a lot of wrongs.
I could simply hold my cash in a piggy bank, but I fear inflation will erode purchasing power in years to come.
With that said, I am honestly curious how does everyone else go about ending work and creating a work-free life without doing all the bad things like being a landlord?
