I won’t specify the town, but this was the absolute WORST place to be a low wage worker. I was prepared to work two or three jobs. Got the first job where they said I would get a raise after a month. Never got it. To get it I would need to watch hours of videos off the clock just to get my pay bumped to $9.00.
I couldn’t get another one because I didn’t have a car and there were no sidewalks. There was a shopping center nearby that had help wanted signs everywhere, but when I applied I was told the signs were actually for locations in other far away towns. These were crap jobs too.
I guess the lesson here is: stay the fuck away from red states.
I moved away from here a while ago but still wanted to get this out. IMO Colorado is much better.
