In order to be successful is it implied that you have to be a complete and total douche-bag as well?
I am a peon and work in accounting behind the scenes. I enjoy being a peon, for what it's worth I guess. Cut to today, my work is having some “cash flow” problems (construction business) I cut a check last week, mailed a few days later and Mr. Important has yet to receive it. I apologized while he berated me for 10 minutes over the phone telling me that's not how business's are properly run and I don't know who I'm dealing with … Mind you the check was for just under $100,000.00… Reissued, overnighted – sent the tracking info via email he didn't even reply. Really makes my blood boil.
