Not really looking for solutions just wanted to bitch about it.
We're actually on our way out because we're (hopefully) buying a home soon, but our lease ends this month and we need extra time to close and move.
We got a deal on the lease when we moved in but these guys are either getting big heads because of the local business boom or they were just waiting for the chance to charge us extra, or both.
These apartments are tiny, the landlords/maintenance staff barely respond when we have issues, and they think they're worth nearly 3x my estimated home loan payments?
The worst part is these are actually the cheapest apartments within a 15 minute drive of my job. A job which pays infamously lower wages than anyone else in the industry, in one of the highest CoL states.
Y'all if we can't close on this house I'm fuckin outtie. Like any means necessary I'm not living here anymore. Moving to East Bumblefuck, Nowhere and sell feet pics.
