Hi everyone! As the title suggests, I’m looking to hear from some of you about what you’re looking for from your employers. I’m a gen Z employee that’s been working at my current company for the last 2 years, and it’s honestly the first company that I’ve worked for that I don’t feel is run by money hungry execs. Despite this, there’s still ample opportunity to improve, and I’ve finally earned myself their ears, so I’m hoping to be able to bring them some concerns that might be getting overlooked. I have my own anecdotal experience, and I’m polling employees at my company, but this group is huge and there are surely some issues discussed here that might not be on our leader’s radars
I’d also love to hear your “wishlist” for benefits. We want to offer benefits that will improve the lives of our employees, but there’s the obvious stigma of younger employees only caring about beanbags and snacks that often stands in the way of employees getting benefits they actually care about. What’s something that would change your life?
Work can suck but it doesn’t have to, and I’m trying to make that possibility a reality for as many people as I can.
Thank you!
