I(22M) started here straight after university and is a 9-5 in a role I don't plan on having a future in. I just joined because I needed money and have around 17k in savings rn. 10k of which I got by doing no work.
So basically, for the past couple months i have not really been doing my role, but everything else seems to be running smoothly. But they are going to find out sometime next week due to current circumstances that I am more than 5 months behind on work. I have literally been so bored with the work that i just come in for attendance in a sense… On my phone for a long time and doing the work so slow because it is so boring. I get 2k monthly salary (2k x 5months =£10,000).
I planned on leaving the role in july or end of june but i think it will happen sooner. How screwed am I? I can already imagine my boss telling me off for being so behind…. It is too late to try and catch up as well but idk really what to do. I need to get a job in the field I want a future in so it wont be too bad I guess….
