Boomers don’t get it!

From a post I saw a few weeks back by u/InLazlosBasement… I think hard for a boomer to sympathize with a millennial that's (seemingly) making double their wage and still complaining. I think it's because $15/hr is more than the $7/hr they got, and explaining that it'd actually be $19 today (or whatever) when adjusted to 2022. Only the figures from their memory that they understand make sense. So, my latest contribution to /antiwork (that no one asked for or needs) is boomercalc.com, which calculates costs in the other direction. Tell the same boomer that instead of $7 their paycheck is $6 (like that were getting before they got their 2nd promotion), or that their $300 rent has doubled (to the price of that downtown 2-bedroom they couldn't afford), and they will add their own context.
