My SO is a social worker. She works at a group home for kids teenage kids that are below hospital level care but still have needs and therapy work.
Recently they have had a high turnover because of not enough staff. They can't hire fast enough for the turnover and training takes time to schedule.
It's become so bad 4 people have relapsed and people have done dumb shit because they are tired and just not in a good place. Even the kids don't stay safe anymore.
The HR rep told the director something needs to be done. The director said to just send a reminder of 3 counseling sessions are covered and rehab fully covered. And if anyone mentions to the director they are having a hard time she just says it will be fine.
