I’ve got one month of savings left, after applying to places consistently since June without a single call back and I am starting to get nervous.
I’m in school finishing up my degree after a workplace injury left me unable to continue working in the industry I was in, which I had been in for 15 years, straight out of high school.
Thanks to this sub, I have branched out from only applying to retail jobs and have been exploring jobs and industries I would have normally felt unqualified for.
You guys have really helped bolster my courage! The job I just left was pretty much the only job I ever had. I haven’t even had a job interview since 2007…
