Advice on stressful job situation

Hi, I (21F) have recently been employed by a bar that just opened around two weeks ago. I went in for a trial shift last week, and they said that it was a yes, but I noticed that business seemed slow. I’m also going away for a month around mid-July, which I called the manager to explain. He told me that this was ‘probably fine’ but that we’d just need to ‘be mindful’ of the situation. I then texted him to let him know about a 5 day holiday I have booked at the end of June, and asked if he would still want to employ me. I sent him this text 4 days ago and he still hasn’t replied, which he has done before with another text. Before I told him about the holidays, he told me he’d want me to start this Friday, which is less than a week away, but I still have no idea if I’m going to even work there so naturally I’m quite stressed. I don’t really want to text again since he still hasn’t replied to my last (quite long) message. I’m also a bit worried that because business is slow and I’d be new and it’s a group of friends who run the bar, I wouldn’t be given many hours, but I’m looking to work full time. Any advice?
