Please excuse me beforehand if this sounds like whiny bullshit.
I work for a small company based in Germany, which provides their European employees with 30 paid vacation days per year, while Americans are only provided with 14 days even though we do the exact same job. When I inquired with HR, they said “We only have to give you this since it’s the bare minimum.”. They also indicated that they have absolutely no intention of changing it. This seems particularly shady or disingenuous to me but I’d love to hear your thoughts on it.
